CHRISTINA MACLEAN
Solicitor
Christina studied at James Cook University in Townsville and obtained her Bachelor of Commerce and Law, with a major in accounting. She has a graduate diploma in legal practice and is also a fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia.
Christina was admitted to practice as a lawyer in February 2003 and joined the team at Connolly Suthers in November 2008.
Christina is experienced in business re-structuring, major commercial transactions and estate and business succession planning having worked in these fields for a number of years in two prominent Brisbane firms.
Christina also has an extensive work history with the Australian Army, where prior to becoming a solicitor she was employed for 5 years full time in the Royal Australian Army Medical Corp, during which she has served on active service operations in Somalia. Since becoming a Solicitor, Christina has become a legal officer with the Royal Australian Army Legal Corp and currently holds the rank of Captain.
In Christina's capacity as legal officer, Christina assists with the legal aid panel, advises on all aspects of service offences and proceedings before service tribunals, operations law and on Defence Contracts.
