TIA COX Litigation Partner Tia Cox was still studying law at James Cook University when she joined Connolly Suthers as an articled clerk in 1995. She graduated in 1996, and was admitted to practice as a lawyer the following year. Tia has also completed a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Economics. She was appointed as Partner of the firm in July 2005.
Tia works in the general litigation department representing individuals against multi-national corporations. She has been helping individuals in their plight for over 13 years. Tia is the mother of three young children. She says parenthood has added a new depth to her life that working as a lawyer, climbing Castle Hill, yoga or meditation could not compare. Being a parent adds a new dimension and perspective to life but she still thrives on the buzz and challenge of the law. She has not wavered in her devotion to her work and especially her clients as she balances mothering and working as a lawyer. Qualifications/Affiliations
