Marketing Coordinator
Connolly Suthers Lawyers currently have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and creative Marketing Coordinator to join our long-established and respected local firm in our Townsville office.
As the firm’s Marketing Coordinator, you will take ownership of all marketing activity, from planning and execution through to reporting. This is a dynamic and hands-on role suited to someone who can balance creativity with attention to detail and enjoys working independently while collaborating with colleagues across the firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and deliver marketing and communication campaigns to promote the firm’s services;
- Manage the firm’s digital presence, including website updates and social media channels;
- Create engaging written and visual content using Canva and other tools;
- Coordinate community partnerships, sponsorships, and events;
- Develop and maintain relationships with media, suppliers, and internal stakeholders;
- Monitor performance metrics and prepare reports on campaign outcomes; and
- Ensure brand consistency across all materials and platforms.
About You
The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:-
- A degree (or working towards a degree) in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or Graphic Design, or comparable experience.
- Experience in traditional, digital and social media marketing;
- Proficiency in Canva and the Microsoft Office suite;
- Excellent copywriting, communication, and presentation skills;
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities;
- A creative mindset with strong initiative and problem-solving ability; and
- Reliability, professionalism, and enthusiasm to represent the Connolly Suthers brand.

Dispatch Clerk
Connolly Suthers Lawyers is one of North Queensland’s largest, most diverse, and dynamic firms.
We are seeking a full-time dispatch clerk to join our administration department in our Townsville office.
Day to day duties included but are not limited to;
- Internal and external deliveries;
- General clerical duties;
- Storage and retrieval of files;
- Scanning mail and other documents;
- Court Filing;
- General housekeeping duties;
- Assist with manual labour tasks such as moving office supplies, boxes or files; and
- Reception duties on occasion.
To be suitable for this position you should have the following experience/skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, Word, PDF’s & Outlook;
- Excellent writing, communication & presentation skills;
- Willingness to work in a team environment and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
- The ability to perform physical tasks and occasional heavy lifting;
- Exceptional time management skills and an attention to detail; and
- A strong work ethic, with an emphasis on being punctual and reliable.

Solicitor - Ayr Based
Connolly Suthers lawyers currently have an exciting new opportunity for a full-time motivated Solicitor to be part of the Ayr-based team.
The primary role of the Solicitor is to provide legal advice, prepare and draft legal documents, and conduct negotiations on behalf of clients on matters associated with the law.
As a Solicitor at Connolly Suthers, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Providing legal advice to clients in multiple practice areas;
- Liaising with other legal practitioners;
- Legal research and related tasks;
- General duties (including basic administration) as required from time to time;
- Build strong relationships with clients by providing regular updates and ensuring a positive client experience;
- Preparation of correspondence and documentation;
- Documentation and file management, including producing accurate file notes, client correspondence and various other tasks; and
- Collaborate with associates and legal assistants to deliver a seamless professional experience for clients.
To be suitable for this position, you should have the following experience and skills:
