Connolly Suthers has its roots in working with primary industry.

The firm has evolved from a traditional North Queensland rural services practice, which, in the past, has comprised branch offices in Tully, Ingham, Hughenden and Airlie Beach. Connolly Suthers now has offices in Townsville and Ayr and offers a 120 year track record and a specialised regional knowledge and presence in North Queensland. The firm continues to work for many primary producers today.

Recent Experience

Connolly Suthers recently assisted with the negotiation of the terms of the sale of a significant pastoral holding to BHP Mitsubishi Alliance which acquired the land for the purposes of a rail corridor.

Connolly Suthers recently represented long-standing grazier clients of the firm from the Charters Towers district in Land Court proceedings commenced in respect of a claim for compensation for the renewal of a mining lease. The claim was settled by consent orders.

Connolly Suthers recently acted for one of the firm's long-standing pastoral clients in the sale of a significant pastoral holding in the Northern Territory.
