Lloyd joined Connolly Suthers in December 2024 as a law graduate after completing his Bachelor of Laws (with Distinction) at James Cook University. He went on to complete his Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice (with Distinction) at the College of Law and was admitted as a Lawyer of the Supreme Court of Queensland in July 2025.
A proud local, Lloyd was born and raised in Townsville and attended Ignatius Park College. He now works in the firm’s Criminal Law department under the guidance of Partner Bill O’Toole, assisting clients with criminal, traffic, domestic violence and administrative law matters.
During his university studies, Lloyd gained early exposure to criminal law practice while working at another local firm, which gave him valuable practical insight into the justice system. He was also recognised with academic awards in Criminal Law during this time, reflecting his strong interest and ability in the field.
Lloyd has a strong passion for criminal law and is committed to providing clients with clear, practical, and reliable advice, along with effective representation. He is dedicated to helping people navigate the complexities of the criminal justice system and is focused on building a long-term career in this field.
